The denotation for this poster is a little girl with dirt around her face she has a necklace on also she has scruffy clothes on and  also the words"1 out of 30 kids are suffering from poverty in the US alone.This shows that she is one of a lot of children who are suffering in the US and many more countries. The poster is trying to make you sympathetic for the kids for to donate and help them lead a better life. Connotations for this text is that she has a "feel sorry for her face" which shows that she is a kid in desperate need of help
