3) What are the main stories on the CSP edition of the Daily Mirror (see above)?

The main story is about a very famous footballer called Diego Maradona and how he passed away at the age of 60.

Why is the choice of news stories on the Mirror CSP front page typical of a tabloid newspaper?

The typical choice of news stories in a tabloid newspaper is about celebrities or very well known people etc the royal family. They do this because the newspaper is targeted at ages 28-34 and they typically like celebrities.

5) What is the balance on the Daily Mirror front page between images, headlines and text?

   
The page is split into thirds as the masthead takes the room at the top with its attractive red colour. 

Audience

1) What is the target audience for the Daily Mirror?

The target audience for Daily Mirror is late 20s and early  30s. The ages are from 28 years old to 34 years old.

2) Why does the Mirror front page story appeal to the Daily Mirror audience?

That it is filled with celebrity stories. Some of the stories on the Daily Mirror site is about celebrity deaths and the royal family like Queen Elizabeth.

4) Why are print newspapers generally read by older audiences?

Print newspapers are generally read by older audiences. This is because nowadays, young teenagers and adults under the age of 30 spend most of their time on social media and find out about the news that way or they go on to the news online. But, older audiences want to see the news face to face on a newspaper.  

5) How is the 'Wills and Harry royal rift' story on the double page spread constructed to appeal to Daily Mirror readers?
